Curl Formers

Tonight I was browsing through the store of the seller I purchased the blush palette from on ebay and I came across these curl formers. At first I was confused about how it worked so I rushed off to youtube and looked for a tutorial and found a few. Looked very simple and easy. All in all i payed 5 something for this 18 piece set. I can't wait for it to arrive.

New Blush Set

Today for the first time I purchased blush. I have always been kind of apprehensive about blush because I thought since I was darker skinned there was no point of it but I changed my mind after looking at pictures of black models and celebrities wearing blush (and looking damn great I must add).

 I decided to purchase a palette from ebay. It is from a seller in China so It will arrive in about two weeks. It was inexpensive too $9.83 (this is including shipping). I have ordered from this seller before and had no issues so I am expecting the same results this time around. Freetress Gena Lacefront

I have been eyeing this lacefront for awhile then on Tuesday I stopped hesitating and pressed that purchase button. As usual I ordered it from divatress.com in the color 1B. It is gorgeous but I do suggest pulling out some of your edges in the front to make the hairline look more natural. This is definitely a special occasion wig, not for everyday wear. All the details are in the video I recorded today.

MAC Girl About Town Lipstick

This is the first ever MAC lipstick that I have ever owned and I must say I love it! Very moisturizing, soft, nice packaging and no weird smells like some lipsticks I have owned. I will be purchasing more lipsticks from MAC.

Hello Hydration by Herbal Essences

Taken in my bathroom.

Found these two large bottles of Herbal Essence's Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner at walmart. I definitely love this shampoo and conditioner, well mostly the conditioner. Smells wonderful and the conditioner gets your hair nice, soft and hydrated. I sometimes use it to condition some of my wigs. Restores them very well. Highly recommended!

My New MakeUp Case

I received the case when I arrived home on Friday. It is very cute and I like it but i wish it was a tad bigger. Due to the size I had to take out some of my products but it is no big deal because the products I removed are the products that I rarely use/don't use at all. I will keep them at home in the old make up container. Of course pictured are my two eyeshadow palettes and my BH cosmetics lip palette. I think my collection is complete, i definitely do not need anymore make up/have room for it lol I did order some false eyelashes and MAC's girl about town lipstick. After I receive those products, I won't be purchasing anymore.

   Well i have been blogging in general since i was in middle school but for this blog, since last summer because i needed a blog to accompany my youtube channel.

When i first started blogging in middle school it was just to have like an online diary to recap my day and events in my life. I think my first blog on xanga is still up  ha ha :-)

Update more often. It is pretty hard to do when you are on your last leg on your journey in University. Hopefully get more of a following.

New Makeup Storage Case

As my make up collection grows, i needed to find something bigger and better to store my goods in so i went on a hunt on ebay and came across this seller who was selling cute make up train cases. I wanted the pink zebra print case but it was unavailable so i settled for a pink one. I should be receiving it by mid next week :-) It was 29.95.

Let me joggle your mind with a picture...

Well i just repurchased another one.  I must say it had a long run but the ends are starting to get ratty and the nape gets tangled a lot. Usually most synths wear out within a week or two but with the way i took care of this one it lasted for months. As i always said, alternating is always the best option.

Overall i give this one a two thumbs up and i will continue to repurchase.

New Orders

Last week one of my uncles sent me money to do some shopping for myself. I decided to finally try aliexpress.com out. Originally i wanted to order another pack of the Janet Collection Alco remy hair that i previously used for my extensions last semester. I discovered I could purchase three packs of hair from a seller on aliexpress.com for a price i would pay for once pack of the Janet collection hair.

I have heard many bad things about aliexpress but i think it is like ebay, you just have to be careful, read the sellers review before making the purchase. I ordered some hair because i want to get extensions and i also ordered some gel eyeliner because i want to do the whole cat eye make up. I think it would look wonderful on me because i have almond eyes.

Like most of the stuff I have ordered on ebay, the sellers are in China so it will take maybe about 3 weeks for me to get my order. I actually don't mind especially with the hair because i am stretching out my relaxer (like i always do) and I want to wait even longer before i get a touch up.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi, Addis ababa and Monte Carlo

I ordered this on ebay Mid Last week and they arrived within two days. I have been eyeing this product for awhile and decided to take the plunge and buy it. So far i love it. It is not a gloss or a lipstick. It is more like something in between. It doesn't feel sticky, but i must say put on some lip balm before you put it on because it does dry out and if your lips are dry, the gloss will emphasize that. It also lasts for a long time. Also if you haven't noticed the shades are named after major cities in the world :-)

Monte Carlo-Dark red color

Maybelline Color Sensational in Copper Charm

Last week my parents and I went to CVS to take pictures for our U.S citizenship stuff. While they were processing the pictures i decided to browse the make up section and i found the perfect nude lipstick. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Copper Charm. It is perfect for us brown girls. Doesn't have a nasty taste or smell to it and it doesn't go on dry like other lipsticks. I give it two thumbs up.

Okay Opinions.

Really love:
Maybelline Matte Mousse-My go to foundation most of the time, great coverage and perfect for combo/oily complexions.
Maybelline Liquid Mousse-flawless coverage
Of course i love the two powders but my favorite out of the two is the maybelline one.

Just Okay
Maybelline 24 hr- I guess it is just okay.
Revlon color stay-Just okay
These are the ones i pull out once every blue moon.

Don't really like
Revlon photoready-It is not so much the foundation, it is that i picked the wrong color. False advertising because the color shown through the glass is not the color that comes out of the pump.
Maybelline Nude foam mousse- This is my new purchase, it is okay. Really sheer, doesn't give much coverage. I mean if you have flawless skin and just want sheer coverage get it. Not really good for oily complexions either.
